Our Company

When you think of Crawford County Real estate, the name that comes to mind should be Kress. The Kress family name has been synonymous with real estate since 1945! Vic Kress, SR. started the company, Vic Kress Real Estate, as a “one person operation” that year. In late years, his sons, Vic Kress, JR. in 1960 and Richard “Biff” Kress in 1976 after their college graduations, joined him.

The two brothers continued to work and grow the business and in 1997 due in part to their outstanding reputation for providing professional real estate service were selected to join the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network. In 2000, GMAC Home Services Division purchased Better Homes and Gardens and the company became Kress GMAC Real Estate.

In 2010, GMAC Real Estate was bought out and became Real Living Real Estate. At that point, Biff was offered the opportunity to affiliate with the NUMBER ONE REAL ESTATE COMPANY IN THE WORLD…RE/MAX. Along with his long time co-worker, Andy Bacallao, they partnered to form RE/MAX Hometown Realty.

RE/MAX Hometown Realty is consistently one of the top producing companies in Northwest PA. The company is a member of the Greater Erie Board of Realtors and its Multiple Listing Service as well as the PA and National Associations of Realtors.
